For the ideal operation of your sailing boat's autopilot, the rudder angle sensor is an essential component that analyses the movements of your rudder.
This sensor accurately replicates the angle of the helm to provide very precise information to the autopilot. This helps to improve course keeping and reaction time, ensuring you have accurate and safe navigation.
In addition, the position of the helm will be displayed on your screens, a useful piece of information during your vessel's manoeuvres.
Designed with a focus on maximum reliability and precision, this product uses a waterproof potentiometer as well as a play elimination device, allowing you to navigate with confidence.
Compatibility:
Angular steering sensor compatible with all power units of Raymarine or Raytheon autopilot systems typically equipped with a steering sensor of type "M81105".
Example of compatible units:
- Raymarine Evolution EV-1 pilots (ACU-100, ACU-200, ACU-300, ACU-400)
- Raymarine Smartpilot autopilots (S1, S2, S3, S1G, S2G, S3G)
